Lately, I've been working a lot with ASP.NET 3.5 and some C#. Visual Studio Web Developer is a lot different from the CS3 Dreamweaver I'm used to be working with, but I'm slowly - though surely - getting the hang of it. As I'm back in school (still looking out for an internship somewhere), I've begun a project which involves a lot of ASP.NET and cooperating with VWD and my teachers. It's not as difficult as I thought it would be, but Windows Vista is not exactly being very cooperative. Since I cannot upload my project at the moment, I've uploaded a screenshot of the design and the general idea of the site in my Portfolio folder.

Another client project done and another month's payment. This time things went a lot smoother than my earlier projects and I finished relatively fast. Unlike my previous projects, this website only required a few pages and much less coding and tricking the functions into doing what I wanted them to do. A direct link to the website can be found in my Portfolio.

My first client project for Hotel Skagerak is finally done and can be viewed by following the link to my Portfolio folder in the menu on the left (note that I am linking to the actual site). Although this was my first project for an actual client, it caused me quite a bit of trouble due to the demands of my client. I've been told, that "the customer is always right" - but even though I did get through with a few suggestions of changes for the website, not everything seemed to go as I would have liked it to.

I did, however, get some experienced throughout this project and I'm glad I did it despite being as underpaid as I am. My client was happy with the outcome and thanked me for the hard work I put in it.

For some apparently unknown reason, Internet Explore refused to show the layout properly on my computer for a long while. But then, all of a sudden, I am able to view it perfectly - just like everyone else. Mainly, it was the flash banner and the border that was acting up, but fortunately I won't have to redo the entire thing.

I am currently working on the layout and design for a forum based roleplaying website. The forum, however, will not be included as I know next to nothing about PHP and the likes. But there will be a functioning front page and I will be using a new ASP script for the banner.

Version 1.0 is finally out! After a little month of work on this layout, I can proudly present Sunset ver. 1.0! I would like to thank my website application teacher Jacob for some of the help he provided me during the development of this site.

Considering the calm and white theme I chose for this layout, it was rather difficult to set up. Not only did the dotted border give me a headache two days in a row, but the making of the Flash banner at the top of this site took me longer than I liked. Though, from now on I know what to do. As this is my first layout consisting of both HTML and Flash, I’m quite satisfied and I know that I have become much better than I was before.

From now on, I hope to learn even more and become someone people will recognize!
